FanBridge encompasses three offices…in three time zones…which means a) we’re always doing math (wait, so what time is that meeting here?) and b) one-third of us are usually far apart from two-thirds of us. So we often find ourselves looking for ways to bring FB’ers in New York, San Francisco and Buenos Aires all together – and this week that meant one thing:  GLOBAL HACK DAY.

24 hours, 5 teams, 2 languages.

(Plus a lot of coffee, a slightly less amount of beer, and a fair amount of trash-talking.)

Too. Much. Hacking.

The goal was to come up with a brand new, working idea for the FanBridge Fan Page Creator. While I can’t share the exact results, I will say that the modules presented in the 25th hour far exceeded everyone’s expectations. I will also say there’s no doubt that soon enough this blog will be announcing new features brought to you by 24 sleepless hours…..

You might be thinking that after hours-on-end of non-stop hacking, a trifecta of offices would want one thing:  sleep.  (And I can’t lie, you’d probably be right about that one…)  But what did FanBridge do?  Immediately head out for our holiday parties!

It’s amazing what cocktails can do for dark undereye circles and half-asleep minds.
