You probably know someone who has contributed to a crowdfunding project, if you yourself haven’t already. You may have heard about it from someone or you may have seen your friend wave around the gift they earned from donating to a crowdfunded cause. A good point to take away from this is that the biggest benefit of crowdfunding isn’t the money.
If you are an artist using a crowdfunding platform like Indiegogo to help raise money for your cause, you have some great resources available to you once someone donates. You may have gained a few bucks, but you’ve also gained a fan and that relationship should be treasured.
There are a handful of crowdfunding platforms on the internet currently but one our clients have had great success with is Indiegogo.
We introduced our partnership with Indiegogo about a year ago and since then we’ve seen some great examples of FanBridgers using our Facebook Fan Page application to bring awareness to their Indiegogo campaigns while engaging their fan base.
We are pleased to announce that we’ve strengthened our partnership with Indiegogo even more and are now a featured partner on their site. This means that you can register your Indiegogo campaign as a FanBridge member and you will immediately boost your “gogofactor.” The gogofactor is Indiegogo’s proprietary algorithm that can help you get featured on their homepage, newsletters, social sites, and more.
