There’s a lot that a person can do with FanBridge’s Fan Page Creator. Your fans can enjoy streaming audio, video, and free downloads all from one tab. But as you assemble your page, clarity is key. We know your Facebook fans want to see and hear something rad and the video module can easily help accomplish that. But if you want to make sure your fans know which is your video and which is something else, folks, look no further than video play buttons!

YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim says, “Play buttons are seductive. When people see one, they instantly know what it does and want to click it.” The probability of your fan viewing your video on your damntheradio page skyrockets when a play button is placed in the center of the image. So to make your videos seductive, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Log in to your FanBridge account and head over to the Campaigns tab. Create a new email campaign by using the Standard HTML Creator (don’t worry, you’re not actually creating a new email).

Step 2: When the campaign editor opens, select the icon that looks like a filmstrip.

Step 3: In the pop-up box, enter the link to where your video is hosted on YouTube and click “Insert”.  You will then see an image of your video with a nice, big play button on it.

Step 4: Click on the insert image button. Once your Moxicode Image Manager opens, double-click on the folder titled Videos.

Step 5: Click the arrow in the bottom-right corner of your newly created video thumbnail and select the Download option. Your image – play button and all – will download immediately to your desktop!

Step 6: Now that you have your image with a play button downloaded, you’ll want to head over to your damnthearadio account and select the Video module.

Step 7: Paste the YouTube URL into the text box and select the Save YouTube Video button (make sure it’s the same one you used earlier).

Step 8: Final Step – if you ignore it all your hard work will have been for nothing!  Expand the module by clicking on “Show optional settings”.  Select the upload button and choose the image file you previously downloaded from your Moxiecode Image Manger.

Voila! With a quick toggle of the on switch, you just added a play button to your damntheradio video, which is live on your fan page. Now you’re driving more fans to click through to watch your video and increasing those YouTube stats.  Look at you go!
