My name is Christopher Gesualdi. I recently joined the FanBridge team to head the Marketing Solutions division.
If you speak to anyone that has worked with me in the past, they can attest to my rather meticulous nature when it comes to my work. When I envision a client feeling slightly confused, coming in contact with a flaw or process that frustrates them, or even worse, paying for something that doesn’t deliver, I am greatly distressed. I need to whole-heartedly believe in something before truly endorsing it.
This TLC is evident in each service offered within our FanFinder suite. The aim of the Marketing Solutions division is to provide artists with what they need – ways to attract relevant, engaged fans. Let me provide examples of how we do this.
Our FanFinder Social Media Boost (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, StumbleUpon, MySpace, AdMob) offerings give artists opportunities to promote via the world of social networking in the most intelligent of ways. Let’s look at Facebook. If you invested say $500 to promote your Fan Page, you’d pick certain target demographics, a bid price, different aesthetic options, a picture, a header, and some text. You’d be diving into the marketplace with one Facebook ad, and not much research behind why it looks like it does, why you selected a certain bid price, etc. If it doesn’t perform well, you may attribute the results to your music, when in fact, changes to the ad itself would have brought in a much more fruitful return.
We test hundreds of different Facebook ad variations for you and find the ones that work the best. We then allocate your budget towards the highest performing ads. If the goal was to drive ‘Likes’ to your page in this example, you would have pulled in hundreds more using FanFinder Social Media Boost on the same exact investment. We apply the same principles of testing different ad variations across the social web (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, StumbleUpon, MySpace, AdMob).
Our FanFinder Interactive Ads locate fans of artists who are similar to you, then not only influence them visually (via beautiful images/flash animation), but feature a player that can stream your music directly from the ad itself.
If you purchased traditional ad space on a website, you’d be featured on a static jpeg banner, and then just sit there, hoping that an interested party would not only look at your ad, but actually click-through (a rare occurrence).
The dynamic nature of these FanFinder Interactive Ads lead to a 25%-30% interaction rate from the viewers who we choose to show them to; our targeting technology allows us to focus in on musical preferences, and make sure that only folks who are likely to enjoy the music in each ad will ever see them.
My goal as Marketing Solutions Manager at FanBridge is to provide artists with services that yield legitimate ROI. In an era where the music industry is in flux, artists/labels now more than ever need ways to truly maximize their ever-shrinking budgets.
I’d love to hear about your goals, and tell you a bit more about each of these solutions. Feel free to reach out at 212.365.8758 or at Chris
